Information about Czech motorway vignettes

Which vehicles require a Czech motorway vignette?

The Czech electronic motorway vignette is intended for motor vehicles with at least four wheels and a maximum permissible weight of up to 3.5 t when using tolled sections of motorways. Motorcycles therefore do not require a vignette. A separate vignette is not required for a trailer or caravan either, and its weight is not added to the weight of the towing vehicle for this purpose. Vehicles over 3.5 t are subject to a different charging system based on the distance travelled. Vehicles powered exclusively by electricity or hydrogen are exempt from the motorway charge, while plug-in hybrids with CO₂ emissions of no more than 50 g/km qualify for a reduced rate.

What should you know before buying a Czech motorway vignette?

Czech electronic motorway vignettes are available for 1 day, 10 days, 30 days or 1 year. When purchasing a vignette, you choose the start date yourself, which can be set up to 30 days in advance.

The annual Czech motorway vignette is not tied to the calendar year, so it does not have to start on 1 January. It is valid for 365 days from the selected start date. The 10-day and 30-day vignettes run from the day you choose until the end of the last day of the period. A one-day vignette is valid only until midnight of the selected day, not for a full 24 hours from the moment of activation.

Validity check and expiry reminders

You can easily check the validity of your Czech motorway vignette online at any time by entering the vehicle registration number and country of registration. When placing your order or directly when checking the vignette's validity, you can set up an email reminder to notify you before it expires. This gives you plenty of time to arrange a new motorway vignette.

Wide range of payment methods

Choose the payment method that suits you best. We support payments by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or QR code. All payments are processed in a secure payment environment.

Registration confirmation by email

After your order has been successfully completed, you will receive a payment confirmation by email. Once your Czech motorway vignette has been registered, you will also receive a registration confirmation by email. We recommend keeping both confirmations for future reference or to verify your order if needed.
